Radiance

 Radiance

Growing up, I always felt like I could never wear oversized clothes. They always drowned me and it looked like I bought the wrong size all the time. However, recently I have been all about oversized clothing.

Khaki Jacket/Shirt, Thrifted
Emerald Necklace, 1. Thrifted/ 2.Forever 21

Instead of wearing everything oversized and looking like playing hide and seek in my own clothes, now I choose to pick out one oversized item at a time. Today I picked this khaki jacket/shirt that I got few years ago from a market and it was large enough to cover some of the loud prints on my skorts, which for me was a great way to balance the colour palette and to coordinate a little with these winter shadows. I decided to go neutral for the top, choosing this back knit top to focus on the colours of the outfit. My recent purchase from Missguided, these Maroon boots, has been serving me very well and I completed the look with my emerald accessories. I hope you like the look.

Grey Hues

Grey Hues

Since today was a pretty casual day for me, meeting my best friend and doing what we do best - normally shopping, talking and laughing a lot - I decided to pick out quite a casual outfit, something that I feel comfortable in, but still looks stylish.

Black Felt Fedora Hat- Newlook

Grey Double breasted Coat, Forever 21 (similar here)
Black cutout shoes, Ebay (similar here)

A simple outfit like this makes my life so much easier when I’m cramped on time and feel too lazy to think of creative dressing solutions. That's why sometimes I love to buy a pack of white basic t-shirts and they do a great job paired with skinny jeans. Today I decided to pair one with leather trousers since it's winter and the cool thing about these trousers is that the interior is lined with warmer material, so they're perfect for winter. I also added a much warmer grey double-breasted coat. I know wearing grey might sound a little bit bland, but in my eyes grey does no wrong, especially when it comes to casual, classic and chic. I think it’s the colour of sophistication. I wore my favourite shoes that you might have seen hundreds of times but I can’t help how comfortable they are! Lastly I added a black fedora hat to complete my look in a more Sherlock Holmes style. I hope you like the look.

Maroon Touch

Maroon Touch
My recent discovery has been this website called Sheinside. I guess I am pretty late in this bandwagon but this website is turning into my personal holy grail. It has a great selection of clothes with even greater price. Now all I need to do is stop myself from buying everything somehow. Well, atleast after my next few purchases!

Bag, Ebay

I’ve always been very fond of T-shirt dresses but it was a lot harder to find the right fit. Finding this stripped t-shirt dress in Sheinside has been a gem, just when I lost hope this came to my rescue. Anyways, putting this outfit together was no brainer. This simple outfit is a classic that doesn’t need much to jazz it up, except for a pair of tights depending on how chilly the weather is. I added my shoes from Misguided and look at that colour, how cute is that? I always tend to go for black shoes so this time I decided to try something different and I totally love it ,and have decided to wear it hardcore in the future. I finished the look with this vintage looking bag from ebay, which is a big score. Also I did heatless curls for my hair, which is basically braiding your hair, the night before and looking lot different than you are in the morning.J. I hope you like the look.

School Game

School Game

This week has been amazing for me since it was my birthday week, and I had a great time with my loved ones. I already feel a lot older and wiser and I was very happy to receive all the love and wishes.

This outfit today was put together with some of my childhood memories in mind. If you have guessed it then great and yes it’s the schoolgirl look. One of my favourite items while growing up was these frilly ankle socks. I always loved how cute they were and how it matched my little frocks. Now when I think about it, frilly ankle socks are a great and inexpensive way to spruce up any outfit. They add extra detail to your shoes, a splash of colour and texture to your winter wardrobe and it’s always nice to have an extra layer to
keep your tootsies fashionably warm. Anyway for my look today I have used the frilly socks to put more emphasis on my schoolgirl look by pairing it with a simple black cut- out shoes. For my dress, I went for a black piece with contrasting white Peter Pan collar which would have been a great way to bring out my inner Alexa Chung, but obviously I was going for a school girl vibe by just adding the needed details. I also added a backpack and my glasses to complete this look. I hope you like the look.

Cosy knits & Dark Lips

Cosy Knits & Dark Lips

As the days have gone shorter, and the winter chill is upon us, it’s really tempting to stay in bed or wrapped up in warm clothes with a cuppa…ahhh. To be honest I’ve been doing that for the past few days and it was pretty relaxing.

Gold detalil cutout shoes, Ebay
Cross body Bag, Guess

So I’ve been stocking up with winter items and I decided to include one of my recent favourite knitwears on today’s look. This turtleneck jumper I got from H&M is not just warm but literally the softest thing I ever felt and I've been wearing it hard core recently. I’ve been loving the hair tuck trend and this turtleneck style is perfect for that. I paired the jumper with my metallic maxi skirt, which I folded and pulled it up to make it mid length. It's all about adjusting and DIY ideas to create looks in different ways with the same items. Again I thought I will get away with just skirt but it was too cold and I end up wearing skin colour tights  (obviously not on the picture) if you are wondering why I am not cold. Also rocking dark lips is the right way to add colour in this season. I finished the look with cutout gold detail black shoes and Guess cross body bag.

HASAN HEJAZI collection viewing/ Sequin & Pleats

Last week I was invited to the exclusive viewing of HASAN HEJAZI.  On the day while we were on our way, we ended up in middle of Leicester Square so we decided to do a photoshoot on the location which I was really happy to do.

Orange Sequin Jumper, Vintage

Black Pumps,Primark(similar here)
Bag, River Island

For my outfit I decided to bring out the sparkles that not only catch the eye but are cosy and warm too. This vintage sequin jumper is one of my greatest finds from a few years ago. I paired it with a black leather pleated skirt. I also added skin colour tights to keep my legs a little warmer. One little belt goes a long way when it comes to giving some shape to the body. I completed the look with tights/socks and black pumps and also added a bag that’s big enough to hold all my things.

Every piece I saw from the collection was really amazing. It featured a mixture of ‘grown-up’ eveningwear and more playful two-piece cocktail outfits in luxurious sequins and silks. There were a lot of prints and street wear pieces, which were some of my favourites. His powerful-yet-elegant signature style with sportswear inspired details and a flirtatious feminine essence were shown in most of his works. I also loved the jewellery which again had the street style feel to it.
